Here There Be Dragons: Making Dragon Code Essence

In September 2016 Marlon and I were in Mt. Shasta to do a photoshoot for the invitations to our fantasy-themed Love Celebration (our otherworldly chic alternative to a wedding).

I had also been told by Spirit that we were there to make a dragon essence.

Our first day in town, we found a Septaria orb in a local metaphysical store. Knowing that this stone has a connection to dragons, I wondered if this was what I was supposed to make the essence with. The answer came clearly: the essence was to be made without any physical object or pre-existing vibrational imprint to influence the coding (like Temple of Isis essence). However, the orb did feel like it came to us as a confirmation of dragon energy, and made a cool prop for our photoshoot.

It was a couple days before the equinox.

Essence making supplies in tow, including water collected from the sacred and ormus-rich local headwaters of the Sacramento River, we were intuitively led to a part of the mountain we hadn’t explored before.

My guidance said go up, up, up. We hiked through clouds of bees and trees growing right next to each other like gate posts.

Eventually we came to a plateau where a single natural boulder sat like an altar, overlooking a vista of forest, mountains and wide open sky.

I set out the bowl and an intention, and stepped back.

They came: dragons.

Countless dragons, dragons of all varieties, ages, colors. There were the senior mages and alchemists gathered around the bowl, and there were families with young ones, there to learn from observing their elders. The leader was an enormous golden yellow dragon called Hep·Kaa. There was also a chief mage whose name came in as Lozarius. It was awe-inspiring to observe and feel these massive masters of alchemy working their magic upon the water in my little bowl. There was toning, almost a song, of frequency.

I wrote in my essence-making journal,

The dragons are here to help us transcend fear.

There were a lot of bees and yellow jackets on the mountain that day (kind of a crazy lot, actually). In the sort of magical scenario that often occurs with essence making, during the time that the essence was in progress the bees and yellow jackets- as well as the birds and other wildlife- gave the bowl a wide birth, as if a twenty feet diameter forcefield was in place. Once the dragons told me the essence was complete and I did the closing activation, the bees and friends immediately flooded into the area and resumed their normal activities.

Sometimes the energetically perfect timings for essence creation and essence release are different. Sometimes things need to percolate awhile. I couldn’t have predicted, however, that it would be over seven years before the dragon essence’s time came (or rather, that we collectively were ready for it).

In this Year of the Dragon and exciting threshold in humanity’s awakening and ascension, the dragons and I present to you with great joy, Dragon Code Essence.
